Nerdly Flat is good to go for 2023, although with some Covid Precautions. Nerdly Flat will run from May 19th-22nd (May long weekend) at Blue Mountain Adventure Park.

This year we’re going to go with a much simpler fee structure than the first year – $80 is your registration, and that pays for your share of the shared spaces and gets you a bunk in one of the bunkhouses on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night.

The registration fee does not include any food – you’ve got to bring your own this year. Cooking facilities are available inside the chalet, and there’s a fridge and a chest freezer to store your food in. Hopefully in the future we’ll be able to include some meals in the cost, but that’ll depend on registration numbers.

What if you want fancier accommodations than a bunk in the bunkhouse? We recommend you head over to Blue Mountain’s website and rent one of their cabins (or check a thread on the Facebook group to see who already may be renting a cabin and looking for roommates). They’ve got some really nice cabins, as well as tenting and RV sites. If you book space through Blue Mountain, you still need to pay your $80 registration – most of that $80 goes towards the rental of the common Chalet space.

To save your spot, please send half your registration ($80 / 2 = $40) via Interac E-Transfer to wade.lahoda@gmail.com (you can send the full payment if you’d prefer too of course). Indicate who it is for. If Interac E-Transfer doesn’t work for you, feel free to email and we’ll figure out another method of payment.

The full balance will be due by May 5th, two weeks before the event. That’ll also be the last point at which we’ll be able to give refunds, unless you need to drop for Covid reasons in which case we’ll refund you at any time.
